The Best Indoor Field Trip Destination in Brooklyn for Schools and Camps

If you are a teacher, school administrator, or camp director looking for a field trip venue in Brooklyn or NYC that is safe, private, fully supervised, and keeps every kid in your group engaged for two straight hours — Max Adventures is built for exactly that.

Unlike museums where kids shuffle through exhibits, or outdoor parks where you are chasing 50 students across open space, our 7,000-square-foot indoor facility gives your entire group a contained, climate-controlled, high-energy environment with over a dozen hands-on attractions. And because we operate on a private-event model, your group is the only one in the building. No other schools. No public visitors. No strangers. Just your students, your chaperones, and our staff.

That is a big deal for schools. It means easier headcounts, simpler supervision, and dramatically fewer liability concerns compared to open-access venues. Camp directors tell us the same thing — having the entire place to themselves makes the trip feel organized instead of chaotic.

What Students Actually Do During a Field Trip at Max Adventures

Two hours fly by when kids have this much to choose from. Here is what your group gets access to:

Our multi-level soft play gym features a zipline, monkey bars, a 16-foot slide, climbing walls, and obstacle course elements — perfect for burning off energy in a space that is built around safety. The Super Block interactive LED floor brings "The Floor Is Lava" to life in a way that gets kids screaming with excitement. The laser maze challenges students to navigate a web of laser beams against the clock — teamwork, focus, and a lot of laughing when someone trips a sensor. Laser tag turns the venue into a glowing battlefield where students compete in team-based rounds supervised by our staff. The arcade zone has basketball shootout, air hockey, skee-ball, and more — all free play, no tokens or cards required. Virtual reality stations let older students experience immersive VR worlds. The glow-in-the-dark room, GaGa Ball arena, axe throwing (safe, foam-based for younger groups), bounce house for smaller kids, and photo booth round out the experience.

Every activity is included. There is nothing extra to pay for and no per-ride pricing. Your group plays everything, as many times as they want, for the full two hours.

Why Schools and Camps Keep Coming Back

We have hosted hundreds of school field trips and summer camp outings since 2014, and groups come back year after year. Here is what administrators consistently tell us they value:

The private, controlled environment means chaperones can actually relax instead of constantly scanning for safety risks. Our staff — a minimum of 5 trained team members per event — actively supervises every attraction and organizes rotations for larger groups so that kids are not all crowding the same activity. The facility is disinfected and sanitized between every single event using hospital-grade, EPA-approved disinfectant, which matters when you are responsible for other people's children. And because everything is indoors and climate-controlled, weather is never a factor — no rain dates, no heat advisories, no cancellations.

We are also proud to be an autism-friendly venue. Our staff has experience working with children who have special needs, and we have successfully hosted many school trips and camp outings for students with diverse learning and sensory profiles. We are happy to discuss accommodations in advance to make sure every student has a great experience.

Pricing and How to Book Your Field Trip

School and camp field trips are available Monday through Thursday and include a 2-hour private play experience on our gaming floor. All attractions are included — no tokens, no cards, no extra fees. Pricing is based on group size:

• 30–50 children: $26 per child
• 51–70 children: $23 per child
• 71–100 children: $20 per child

The minimum group size is 30 children and the maximum is 100, with up to 20 counselors, teachers, or parent chaperones included. A private party room and pizza can be added at an additional cost for groups that want a dedicated space for lunch.

All children must have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian submitted in advance. Students must be accompanied by camp counselors or school staff at all times during the visit.

To check availability and book your field trip, call us at (718) 676-9577 or fill out the inquiry form above. We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks in advance, especially during the peak field trip season in May and June, and during summer camp months.
