COVID-19 Warning

(Update 07/01/2022: Mask coverings or vaccinations are no longer required, however our staff are all vaccinated and will continue wearing face coverings for your safety and confidence)

We have taken enhanced health and safety measures for you, your Guests, and our Staff Members.

You must follow all posted instructions and wear a face covering at all times while visiting Max Adventures.

Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and our Staff. All guests and employees ages 12 and up must show
proof of at least one dose of vaccine to be allowed in the facility or to be employed at Max Adventures.

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and Guests with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable.

By visiting Max Adventures you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19.

GUEST RESPONSIBILITY
1. If you or any member of your party or family is not feeling well, do not visit. Plan to come when everyone is well.
2. Currently, government health organizations are recommending people 65 years and older, those who live in a nursing homes or long-term care facilities, and people with underlying medical conditions (particularly if not well controlled) should either remain home or keep their distance from others. Underlying medical conditions include chronic lung disease or moderate to severe asthma, serious heart conditions, immunocompromised, severe obesity (body mass index [BMI] of 40 or higher), diabetes, chronic kidney disease undergoing dialysis, and liver disease.

3. Please wear a mask/ face covering throughout your visit if you can safely do so. This is for your own protection and for the protection of other guests and employees in the facility. Employees will also be wearing masks/ face coverings / gloves. Masks/ face coverings can be purchased from various sources or homemade as long as they cover your nose and mouth.
4. Wash your hands frequently and practice good hygiene while visiting:
a. Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds throughout your visit. Use hand sanitizer as an alternative. (Wash them after coughing or sneezing, before eating, after toilet use, and when hands are visibly dirty.)
b. When coughing or sneezing, cover your mouth and nose with a flexed elbow or tissue. Throw tissue into a trash receptacle after use.
5. At some attractions, you may be asked to apply hand sanitizer before, during, and/or after the experience.
6. We have enhanced our already-stringent cleaning protocols considering the COVID-19 pandemic. We apologize if you experience any delays or inconvenience as a result of these procedures.
7. Follow social/physical distancing guidelines carefully, maintaining 6 feet (2 meters) of space from others. Family members and others (a “family unit”) who live in the same household can be closer together. All others should strictly adhere to the physical distancing guidelines.
8. To facilitate adherence to physical distancing guidelines, attractions may reduce capacity or close some attractions. Please be patient and understanding with these necessary operational changes.
9. If you feel ill once you at the facility let an employee know right away. You and your party may be asked to move to a special area within a facility for further assessment.
10. We may deny entry or ask to leave anyone who is not complying with our safety measures.

GENERAL HEALTH AND SAFETY

* All high-touch areas are covered with SELF CLEANING SURFACE Nanotechnology Powered by light; SELF CLEANING SURFACE utilizes mineral nano-crystals which create a powerful oxidation reaction. Working 24/7, the surface continually oxidizes organic contaminants. Unlike traditional disinfectants and cleaners, the SELF CLEANING SURFACE uses no poisons, heavy metals or chemicals, and nothing is released from the surface since the nano-crystals are molecularly bonded to the material.

1. Reminders for employees and guests to wash hands frequently placed throughout the facility including guidelines for safe hand washing with soap and water for 20 seconds.
2. Additional Hand Sanitizer Stations have been added to all stations. Including but not limited to the entrance, all attractions, party room and front desk. Additional stations have been added in all employee only areas.
3. Fresh Outdoor Air circulating through our fresh air intake air system. Installed new MERV 13-RATING AIR FILTERS. MERV 13 filters capture airborne viruses and bacteria from coughs and sneezes.
4. Use of temperature checks for all guests and employees.
5. All Employees and Guests are required to wear face coverings. Face coverings are required for all Guests (ages 2 and up) and our staff. Employees must wear gloves. Guests are encouraged to wear gloves.
6. Zelle payments are now available. Guests are encouraged to pay using Zelle.
7. Employees that check in guests must wear mask, gloves and face shields.
8. Additional PPE has been added to the first aid kit to deal with any COVID related illnesses.
9. Social Distancing reminders and markers placed on the floor throughout the facility
10. Increased Safety Protocols communicated to customers on the website, social media and before bookings.
11. Identifying COVID-19 symptoms and messaging that asks guest to come back another day if anyone in their party is experiencing the symptoms
12. Directives on wearing masks/ face coverings for employees and guests
13. Physical distancing guidelines posted
14. Capacity limits that facilitate social distancing
15. Enhanced cleaning and sanitizing protocols
16. Minimum one team member per shift assigned as cleaning personnel.

With that in mind we are adjusting our rescheduling and cancellation policy accordingly: Parties that are booked for April, May and June 2020 (as of now), will have an option to postpone their parties without any fees, at any time and to the best available date and time (including up to the next year).
